Innovate Iowa and the Iowa Biotech Association invite you to a panel discussion on Clinical Trials in Iowa on Monday, September 17th at the University of Iowa BioVentures Center located at 2500 Crosspark Road in Coralville.

A new report, “Research in your Backyard: Developing Cures, Creating Jobs” will be released during the program. The event will be held from 11:30am – 1:00pm and lunch will be provided. Panelists include Dr. Doug Bartels, Senior Research Scientist for Vertex Pharmaceuticals; Jeff Trewhitt, a spokesman for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) who authored the report; and Lorna Johns a patient volunteer who has participated in clinical research.
